Hello! I am GüneÅŸ,
I grew up in a country with inadequate sex education and a strong cultural stigma surrounding discussions of sex. As a result, my understanding of sexuality was limited, largely based on unreliable information from friends and conservative sources. Due to societal taboos, pressures, and misconceptions, I had mostly conventional, orgasm-focused sexual experiences well into my thirties. For years, I felt disconnected from my own body and believed something was amiss without clarity. A few years ago, I made the decision to educate myself about sex and intimacy, prompted by my own readiness and a growing desire to understand my feelings.

In 2021, I completed the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB) accredited Sexological Bodywork and Somatic Sex Educator certification programs at the Sea School of Embodiment in the UK, specialising in somatic (body-focused) education. This decision has been one of the most impactful in my life. Then I realized that many people shared my feelings and experiences, encouraging me to share my knowledge. I am now a certified and trauma-informed somatic sex educator and coach.

In recent years, I’ve deepened my practice by training in mindfulness-based education. In 2024, I began to be trained as a Mindfulness & Compassion Programme (MCP) Educator, accredited by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA), and I am currently awaiting final certification.
I also began training in Mindfulness Coaching & Emotional Coaching in 2025, an ICF-accredited program that supports individuals in developing emotional awareness, psychological flexibility and resilience. Through presence, curiosity, and non-judgmental awareness, these paths have allowed me to support not just physical and relational healing, but also self-regulation, emotional integration, self-compassion, and inner growth.

My mission is to help you build a deeper, more mindful & compassionate relationship with yourself — through your body, your emotions, and your inner awareness. This might look like learning to stay with uncomfortable sensations instead of avoiding them, cultivating a kind inner voice when self-criticism shows up, or grounding yourself through the breath in moments of overwhelm. Whether through slowing down, softening into awareness, or connecting with your body, values and emotions, I’m here to support you in reconnecting with your inner resources — gently, gradually, and with care.

There are not many coaches like Gunes.
